About Us
My name is Charlie Carpenter, and I am the webmaster for this website, MrCarpentersTech.com. I am currently a K-12 Instructional Technology Coach for Reynoldsburg City Schools, a suburb district of Columbus, Ohio. I serve 11 buildings as a person who locates, creates, and makes available resources for the teachers of Reynoldsburg. I also design Professional Development and implement this PD as necessary. One of my great loves of my position is the opportunity to instruct teachers on the integration of technology, then model teach how to integrate technology into their lessons. Previously I was a 4th grade teacher for seven years in the Reynoldsburg City School District, Ohio. I have my Master's Degree in Computer Education and Technology from Ohio University. I am also an Ajunct Professor for Ohio Dominican University, instructing two Master's level technology courses for educators.
One of my passions is using technology in the classroom. Some days it seems so much easier than others, which is why I felt compelled to construct this website. I want to make it easier for students, parents, and teachers to find information and help using technology. I enjoy making video tutorials and collecting other websites as resources to make them available for others.
I know from personal experience that finding what you are looking for isn't always easy. When I do find something, I many times have to continue the search to find a little more. I wanted to make a resource that had a lot of information that is very easy to find. I would greatly appreciate any feedback from your experience or suggestions for this website.
